What makes it good also makes it hard to remember after you're done. It's a very fun time, and it certainly doesn't overstay its welcome.
The demo is over very quickly you get a blast of shooting, a few objectives, and you're out in around ten minutes or so. The game looks incredible, and little touches like the blood sprays and the way the laser sights turn into solid beams in night-vision mode make for an impressive mood. Of course, as a gamer, "Watch Ramirez clear this room!" would be a very boring command. If I were a soldier and I had to secure every point, man every gun, and sweep every room, I'd get upset. This is what Call of Duty should be: a very-pretty, very-intense war game that gives your character a little too much responsibility. Now that I've had the time to really think on it, I have mixed feelings.įirst, the game is great.
